DARC July 2020 Meeting Cancelled

Greetings! July is upon us in its full fury of heat and storms.

Did I say “heat”? Or is it just the humidity? Or is the answer to that question “YES!”?

May’s phone conference meeting was OK, and the outdoor meeting in June at Delano Park in Decatur was sparsely attended. There are also the ongoing restrictions due to this virus thing, and vacation plans and long weekend exhaustion from the 4th of July holiday.

So . . .

It has been decided to cancel the July 7th, 2020, meeting of the Decatur Amateur Radio Club. Please do NOT go to the Morgan County Courthouse on Tuesday evening expecting to talk radio with someone (unless you sit in your vehicle and use one of the repeaters).

We are hoping for the opportunity to have a full in-person club meeting somewhere on August 4th. That’s August 4th, 2020. We hope.

If you have any questions, please e-mail club president Mike Findlay at kd4tgc@gmail or e-mail me at this address or at kb4cay@gmail.

And pass this along to someone you know who may not be aware.
See you (hopefully!) in August!
