The Decatur Amateur Radio Club offers license testing at 1:00 pm on the first Saturday of each month in the Decatur Public Library. Walk-ins are welcome, but it is much easier if you contact us beforehand so we can be ready with the proper testing material for you. To reserve a spot please contact us with your contact information and the level of license you seek.  The testing fee is $15.

The Decatur Public Library is located at 504 Cherry Street NE, Decatur, AL, on the block bordered by Sixth Avenue NE (US Highway 31) and Lee Street. A new bank building is under construction across Lee Street.

When you come for a test, please bring appropriate ID (especially your FRN, which is required on the license application) so you do not delay your test or the testing of others. If you have questions, please contact us at the above email address.
