Greetings! Here’s a message from the club’s vice-presdent about a great opportunity during the Memorial Day weekend festivities at Point Mallard in Decatur this weekend:
 

Dear Members & Fellow Hams,

We are in need of operators for our Ham Radio Station Setup during the Alabama Jubilee Balloon Event this coming Weekend. We will need to have people at the Station for a couple hours both Saturday and Sunday.
Please contact me at kb3a@robsonco.com or text me at 814-449-9461 to volunteer your time for this event We will be located near the EMA Trailer. This will be a great way to highlight DARC capabilities and communication skills. Also, we can promote our Field Day operation as well as Parks on the Air efforts.
