Greetings! With the closing of the Aquadome on September 13th, the club’s meeting location became unavailable.

And that observation wins the prize for being stupidly obvious, doesn’t it?

Anyway, Decatur Parks and Recreation has made a room available in the new Decatur Recreation Center at Wilson Morgan Park just off of the Beltline (Highway 67) in Decatur. Until further notice, the club will be meeting upstairs in the Wilson Room. The address of the new Rec Center is:

There is one minor matter that we all have to do, however. Use of the facility requires a FREE General Membership for all members. This is easily done through their RecDesk web portal at this link:

You must first create an account, then enroll in the General Membership, filling out all necessary information. When “checking out”, the price in the cart is $0.00, so don’t worry about your retirement account.

The room will open for us at 6:00, and the meeting will begin semi-promptly at 6:30. Please sign up and be ready to be impressed by this new facility.
