The regular monthly meeting of the Decatur Amateur Radio Club will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday, November 5th, in the basement auditorium of the Morgan County Courthouse . The doors must remain locked, so someone will be there to let you in if you arrive BEFORE 7:30 at the lower entrance off of Lee Street. Please also be aware that increased security provisions are in place, so if you carry a pocket knife or any other item that can trigger a metal detector, please leave it in your car when you enter the building.

November is election month for many government offices, and our club follows that tradition. We will be electing officers for 2020 at this meeting. Please come and provide some input, vote for club officers, and better yet, volunteer for a position.

Here’s another reminder that the CTCSS tone on the 147.00 repeater has been implemented since Monday, September 2nd. If you are still having issues with your radio, maybe one of those present can help you with setting it up. Most importantly, be using the repeater at every opportunity. It’s a fun and valuable resource we provide.
