DARC March 2021 Meeting Reminder

Greetings! If March is supposed to come in like a lion, is it supposed to be a sea lion in this rainy year?

OK, I’ll stop. For now. If you wish to complain, come to the monthly meeting of the Decatur Amateur Radio Club.

This month will be different. It’s time to eat! We will meet at Libby’s Catfish and Diner on Highway 67 in Priceville between 6:00 and 6:30 on Tuesday evening, March 2nd. If you don’t know how to get there, follow Highway 67 out of Decatur towards I-65. Go beyond the interstate and go up the big hill called Priceville Mountain. When you get to the top (not quite 3 miles from the I-65 interchange), Libby’s will be on your right.

Our program will be a review of the fine food offerings at Libby’s, with additional comments and conversations around the table by any interested hams. Bring your appetite and your wallet and enjoy!

Speaking of wallets, membership dues for this year are still due for some of you. The club voted to raise the dues to $20.00 per year beginning in January (this is the first increase in anyone’s memory stretching back more than 30 years!). Dues are annual, beginning in January and expiring in December. Bring your cash or check to the meeting. You can pay for multiple years in advance if you wish. If you’d rather pay the old-fashioned way, mail a check to:

Hope to see you, any family members that want to join in the fun, and your taste buds on Tuesday!
