Greetings! It’s September, and time for Labor Day, the day we celebrate working by not working.

If that puzzles you, join the rest of us. We’ll wait.

However long you wish to wait, I hope you work up an appetite! The regular monthly meeting of the Decatur Amateur Radio Club is moving into Chinese territory for this month. Instead of the usual arrangements, we will meet at the Canton House Chinese Buffet on 14th Street in Decatur at 6:30pm on Tuesday, September 7th. Bring an appetite and some stories about your experiences at the recent Huntsville Hamfest.

Please do not show up at the Morgan County Courthouse in Decatur at the usual meeting time. We will be too full to drive over there and let you in the building to have a meeting by yourself. Come to the restaurant and enjoy food and fellowship with other hams.
